細胞分裂素 (cytokinin,CTK)從玉米或其他植物中分離或人工合成的植物激素。一般在植物根部產生,是一類促進胞質分裂的物質,促進多種組織的分化和生長。與植物生長素有協同作用。是調節植物細胞生長和發育的植物激素。在細胞分裂中起活化作用,也包含在細胞生長和分化及其他相關的生理活動過程中,如激動素(KT)、玉米素(ZT)、6-芐基氨基嘌呤(6-BA)等。

同位素標記法
同位素標記法,是借助同位素原子以研究有機反應歷程的方法。
放射性同位素示蹤法能準確定量地測定代謝物質的轉移和轉變,與某些形態學技術相結合(如病理組織切片技術,電子顯微鏡技術等),可以確定放射性示蹤劑在組織器官中的定量分布,并且對組織器官的定位準確度可達細胞水平、亞細胞水平乃至分子水平。
符合生理條件
在放射性同位素實驗中,所引用的放射性標記化合物的化學量是極微量的,它對體內原有的相應物質的重量改變是微不足道的,體內生理過程仍保持正常的平衡狀態,獲得的分析結果符合生理條件,更能反映客觀存在的事物本質。 放射性同位素示蹤法的優點如上所述,但也存在一些缺陷,如從事放射性同位素工作的人員要受一定的專門訓練,要具備相應的安全防護措施和條件,在日前個別元素(如氧、氮等)還沒有合適的放射性同位素等等。在作示蹤實驗時,還必須注意到示蹤劑的同位素效應和放射效應問題。所謂同位素效應是指放射性同位素(或是穩定性同位素)與相應的普通元素之間存在著化學性質上的微小差異所引起的個別性質上的明顯區別,對于輕元素而言,同位素效應比較嚴重。因為同位素之間的質量判別是倍增的,如 3H 質量是 1H 的三倍,2H 是 1H 的兩倍,當用氚水(3H2O)作示蹤劑時,它在普通 H2O 中的含量不能過大,否則會使水的物理常數、對細胞膜的滲透及細胞質粘性等都會發生改變。但在一般的示蹤實驗中,由同位素效應引起的誤差,常在實驗誤差內,可忽略不計。放射性同位素釋放的射線利于追蹤測量,但射線對生物體的作用達到一定劑量時,會改變機體的生理狀態,這就是放射性同位素的輻射效應,因此放射性同位素的用量應小于安全劑量,嚴格控制在生物機體所能允許的范圍之內,以免實驗對象受輻射損傷,而得錯誤的結果。
